Who I am

“The path to creating these custom memorial art pieces began as a personal way to honor my loved ones. I am an artist with a deep appreciation for the stories that objects carry with them beyond this life. Many of us hold onto the clothing, letters, and other beloved items of those we’ve lost, often tucking them away for safe keeping in a drawer or closet. Sadly, revisiting them only occasionally, when we are cleaning or happen upon them. There is a warmth that comes from seeing a loved ones cherished item, and reliving the memories, and I believe having them visible in your day to day life brings a special comfort about loss.

My approach is the transformation of those hidden memories creating a meaningful piece of art that becomes part of your everyday life. This personal longing for a consistent connection to those that have passed in my life — and not wanting to forget someone I hold so dear to my heart — is why this studio was started.”
